About the owner
Hugo has more than 10 years' experience in the accounting, taxation and advisory fields and has gained extensive and specialised knowledge in financial and management accounting as well as the taxation of individuals, companies and trusts.
He obtained his degrees in BCompt (Accounting Sciences) and BCom (Hons) (Financial Accounting) from the University of South Africa.
After completing his South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) articles, Hugo registered with the South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA). As part of the admission requirements of SAIPA he has prescribed to Continuous Professional Development, therefore he is always up to date on the latest developments in the fields of accounting and taxation.
The South African Revenue Services (SARS) requires all natural persons who provide taxation services to be registered with a Recognised Controlling Body. He is a member of the South African Institute of Tax Professionals (SAIT) and a Registered Tax Practitioner with the SARS.
Hugo is also a Certified Independent Reviewer and may perform Independent Review Engagements for certain types of companies.
He has also been admitted to the Institute of Directors in Southern Africa (IoDSA) as an individual member.
